  1. Do you provide any email account?

    No, currently we do not provide any email account. However, you can have an email alias forwarded to your account if we host your pages.

  2. Will we be able to have our own cgi directory?

    Currently we don't support your own cgi directory. However we provide members with in house scripts like mail processing, form processing, and others.

  3. Do you support C, C++, Java?

    We do not provide users with the capability to compile their program in C, C++, or Java.

  4. What text editors do you provide on your server?

    We do not provide any text editor since we are using our own filemanager program (a site manager/builder) where you can include templates and such for your editing purposes. It is very easy to use. To access the filemanager, you can login through our web page.

  5. Do you host on UNIX or NT or both?

    We host on Unix, specifically BSDI 3.1.

  6. What kind of connection do you have?

    We have 3 redundant BGP4 routed T3's.

  7. How long would it take to get this site set-up?

    Your account should be setup within 1 day of your application for verification. You may test your new account free for 5 days*. If you wish to continue using the account, you need to send your payment and hosting form (read section "How do I pay" for more information) to us no later than 5 days*. If we do not receive payment and hosting form from you after 5 days*, your account will be suspended. If we do not receive payment from you after 10 days*, your account will be removed.

  8. How do I pay?

    Currently we only accept money order. Your money order should be made payable to ValBon Company and drawn in U.S. dollars only.

    Along with your money order, you will need to send us a printout of the hosting application form after you have completed all of the fields. Make sure you checked the box at the bottom that specifies that you agree to our Terms of Service.

  9. How am I billed?

    Payment options are monthly, quarterly, or yearly. For example, if your account was setup on the 18th, your billing cycle will begin on the 18th and you'll receive a bill on or about the 18th.

  10. What if I want to cancel?

    You may cancel your services at any time. However, you will not be refunded the fees for the term you have already paid for.

  11. Does this service include prompt tech support? Is tech support 24x7 or limited?

    We provide prompt tech support and are available 7 days a week.

  12. Do you limit the amount of traffic per account?

    No, there is no limit to the amount of traffic.

  13. How do we upload our files?

    The filemanager will allow you to upload your files to our server from any location in the world and is very easy to use. You don't have to download any ftp program.

  14. I already have an existing account. Should I upload my files one by one to my new account here?

    If you already have an exising site on another server, we can copy your site over to your new account here without extra charge. It will takes only minutes. Email us at info@valbon.com after you have applied your account by letting us know your old site address and your login here.

  15. Do you provide telnet sessions?

    No, we don't provide shell account or telnet sessions.
